How to Conjugate an -AR verb

Step 1: Write the infinitive (HABLAR)

Step 2: Drop the -ar ending, leaving you with the stem (HABL-)

Step 3: Add your needed ending based on WHO is doing the action. (-O, -AS, -A, -AMOS, -ÁIS, -AN)

 

Yo HABLO = I talk, I'm talking

Tú HABLAS = You talk, You're talking

Él/Ella/Ud. HABLA = He/She/It/You (f.) talk, H/She/It/You (f.) are talking

Nosotros/Nosotras HABLAMOS = We talk, We're talking

Vosotros/Vosotras HABLÁIS = You all talk, You all are talking

Ellos/Uds. HABLAN = They/You All (f.) talk, They/You All are talking
